Mr Gao Qi graduated from Tianjin University with a bachelor’s degree in engineering and the National University of Singapore with a master degree in engineering.  He participated an internship program at the Ericsson Eurolab Deutschland GMBH in Germany from June 2000 to September 2000 and served as member of technical staff at DSO National Laboratories in Singapore from August 2001 to June 2004.  From August 2004 to September 2007, he was the Deputy Representative of Representative Office in Canada and the Representative of Representative Office in Hong Kong and Macao of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.  Since October 2007, he served as the Assistant to President, the Assistant to President and General Manager of General Affairs Department, and the Administration Controller and General Manager of General Affairs Department of China Aerospace International Holdings Limited and is now that of the Vice President and General Manager of General Affairs Department.
